Thank you for your interest in our History Vendor Project! How would you like to be involved?

History Vendor is a public art installation created by Chris Dahlquist, a Kansas City based visual artist that works at the intersection of historic photography and contemporary technology. As a longtime resident of nearby historic Columbus Park, she knows that a long history helps give a neighborhood identity but its the creativity of its residents and visitors that, if engaged, can bring it to life.

History Vendor is made possible by the Kansas City Municipal Art Commission’s Art in the Park program with images provided by the Missouri Valley Special Collections of the Kansas City Public Library.
